NRO’s mission is to provide efficient reliable and cost-effective rail transportation services to meet the growing demand for the movement of goods between the SADC countries and to the benefit of regional integration, and Africa trade. 

Our primary focus in the rail logistics space is to specialise in the transportation of bulk commodities such as imported petrochemical products, and export of bulk mineral commodities to through various Southern African ports.

NRO is commencing with their rail operations in September 2024.

We aim for value addition to the railway business by providing a combination of capital (rolling stock, locomotives), channel management, technical and operational expertise, to enable total solutions to customers’ requirements, thereby playing a catalytic role in transforming the railway industry in Africa.
